Rope: “There is no more anti-British behavior than that of Rishi Sunak”

Firing” against the British Prime Minister was launched by the Vice-President of the Commission, Margaritis Schinas, after the cancellation of the meeting of Rishi Sunak with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, stating that “there is no more anti-British behavior than that of Rishi Sunak”

Speaking on Australian television, the Vice-President of the Commission emphasized: “I have studied in the United Kingdom, I have lived in the United Kingdom, and it is inexplicable how the British Prime Minister can reach a point where he refuses to speak to someone with whom he disagrees”.

Meanwhile, the diplomatic dispute between Greece and Britain over the Parthenon Sculptures deepens after the “unnecessary” as it is characterized by the Financial Times, cancellation of the meeting.

Sunak’s side still maintains that the meeting would have taken place on the condition that the Greek Prime Minister would not raise the issue of the Parthenon Sculptures, something that Athens vehemently denies.
