The long-awaited Tesla Smartphone has been the center of attention for tech enthusiasts for several months. Now, its official name has been revealed as Tesla Model Pi 5G 2023 and it is expected to be released soon.
Although Elon Musk has not officially presented the phone yet, many details about it have been circulating online. The name, Pi, refers to the Greek letter “π,” representing the mathematical constant.
While some speculate that it may resemble an improved version of the iPhone, Musk intends to create a unique design that will disrupt the smartphone market.
As for the phone itself, it will feature a large 6.7-inch screen, similar in size to the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max. Its standout feature is the powerful 4700 mAh battery that can be charged using sunlight. Moreover, the device’s RAM is between 8 and 12 GB, with storage space ranging from 512 GB to 2 TB. Additionally, the phone can unlock more features when connected to a Tesla car.
In terms of the camera, it will need to compete with industry leaders like Apple and Samsung, requiring at least three lenses, including a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5x optical zoom main sensor.
Regarding the price, it is estimated to start at 800 or 900 euros, potentially reaching up to 2000 euros. However, with the enigmatic Musk at the helm, the actual release remains uncertain.
