Arsenal left behind their Champions League elimination with a 2-0 win against Wolves, putting them on top of the Premier League, one game ahead of Manchester City.
Arsenal had full control of the game from the start, even though Wolves hit the post in the first half. The chances were in Arsenal’s favor, and at the 45th minute, Leandro Trossard scored his 9th goal of the season, surpassing his personal best.
In the second half, the away team became even more aggressive and faced minimal threats from Wolves. Despite several attempts, no more goals were scored until the final moments when Martin Odegaard made it 2-0, passing the ball to Manchester City, now in second place with one game less.
